Apple has released more iOS/iPadOS 14.2, tvOS 14.2, watchOS 7.1 and macOS 11 betas
Apple has made the second beta of iOS/iPadOS 14.2, tvOS 14.2 and watchOS 7.1 available to the developer. There is also a ninth beta of macOS Big Sur and a new version of Xcode 12.2 development environment. We recommend making backups before installing test versions.
iOS/iPadOS, tvOS, macOS and watchOS are described as build 18B5061e, build 18K5036d, build 20A5384c and build 18R5561e respectively. They are likely to improve stability, performance and error. We will keep you informed about any new developments.
Bets are available for registered developers on the Apple Developer Center website and directly from the device level. In the nearest future there should also be more public bets of these systems.
In the first iOS 14.2 beta, a button associated with the Shazam service was introduced, which enables quick activation of music recognition functions from the control center level. It is worth adding that there is no need to install the program itself. Additionally, the size of the graphics showing the album in the music control panel was enlarged and the AirPlay device list was redesigned. A nice change is the introduction of a music suggestion when the sound is not playing at the moment. Apple has also changed the Watch application icon (it switches the watch with a new Solo bar). A new option has also been introduced, which informs about the distance from other people. Use the Magnifier for this purpose.
