Apple has released on its own technical support channel on YouTube a new guide on how to set up an Apple Watch for a family member.

With Family Setup you can use your iPhone to set up and manage an Apple Watch for a family member, such as a child, who doesn’t have their own iPhone.

To do this, add the watch to your iPhone and select Configure for family member. Then you need to select the right person from the list and go through the next steps of configuration - activate the Ask for Purchase function, configure your mobile network and Wi-Fi and activate additional features.
