Two months ago, Epic Games sued Apple for removing Fortnite from the App Store. Judge Yvonne Gonzalez Rogers, who is leading the case, recently announced that the next stage of the trial will probably not start until July 2021. However, she finally decided to postpone the trial until an earlier date.

Apple and Epic Games will face the court on May 3, 2021. According to the motion made by both sides of the conflict, the trial will not be held by a jury. The main hearing is also to be preceded by a series of meetings and consultations with both parties.

For the time being, everything seems to indicate that Judge Rogers is leaning slightly more towards Apple's right. During the two hearings so far, she has criticized the actions of Epic Games several times, accusing them, among other things, of trying to avoid the consequences of conscious violation of the rules and insincere intentions of their actions. She has still not made a decision in connection with Epic Games' request to force Apple to restore Fortnite to the App Store for the duration of the trial.
