Activision Blizzard is one of the largest American companies producing and publishing computer games. During the last meeting for investors its representatives announced ambitious plans related to games for mobile devices.

Activision Blizzard representatives announced that the company plans to focus on the mobile gaming market in the near future, which gives them the opportunity to reach billions of customers around the world. Ultimately, they want all the most popular game series in their catalog to be mobile in the future. So this may mean that in the coming years we will see new releases of such series as Starcraft, Warcraft, Overwatch, Heroes of the Storm or Destiny in the App Store.

Until recently Activision Blizzard has been quite cautious about moving its most popular games to iOS or Android mobile devices. Announced almost exactly two years ago Diablo Immortal, a mobile spin-off of the popular Diablo series, met with a huge wave of criticism from disgruntled fans who didn't like the vision of a shallow and simplified smartphone game. However, the experiment with Call of Duty: Mobile - a mobile spin-off of the popular series of shooters - was much more successful and met with great interest among players. It was probably the success of this game that prompted Activision Blizzard to move more brands to mobile devices. Not without significance is probably also the fact that games for iOS and Android are already bringing huge money to the company. In 2019, they accounted for as much as 34% of Activision Blizzard's total revenue.
