Apple is slowly completing the cast of its new promising series "Severance", created for the Apple TV+ service. According to Deadline, the project has just been joined by the famous American actor Christopher Walken, Oscar winner for his role in "Deer Hunter".

"Serverance" will be a thriller about Lumen Industries, a company trying to set new standards in work life balance, using modern technology to separate memories of work from ordinary memories. Christopher Walken will play the role of one of the top-ranking employees, head of optics and design.

The main role in "Serverance" will be played by Adam Scott (known from "Parks and recreation"), who will play the role of the company's employee hiding the dark secret. The series will also feature Patricia Arquette (Oscar-winner for her role in "Boyhood"), who will play the head of Lumen Industries, and John Turturro (who will also play in the new "Batman"). The series will be directed by Ben Stiller, so far associated mainly with comedies, and the author of the script is Dan Erickson. Red Hour Productions and Endeavor Content labels are also involved in the series. Like most other series currently being created for Apple TV+, "Serverance" does not yet have even an approximate release date planned.
