Last month, Apple removed the Stadium web browser from the App Store, which was the only one to offer the possibility of launching a streaming service with Google Stadia games on iOS devices. Now, however, this application has been made available again in a slightly modified form.

The official reason for removing the Stadium browser from the App Store was the modifications to the WebKit engine, allowing communication via Bluetooth with game controllers. In order to be able to restore the application to the store, the author of the project decided to limit support for this type of accessories. In information about the update he pointed out that the official Google Stadia controller should continue to work properly by connecting via WiFi. He also claims that some Bluetooth controllers can still work with the browser, although they will not always work 100% correctly.

The Stadium browser is currently available for download from App Store for free. However, it cannot be ruled out that Apple will find another excuse to remove it from the store in the future. It is not known from now on that the company is very reluctant to stream iOS devices from the cloud.
